About the service
About Medical Image Download: Scope, Pricing and Privacy
Medical Image Download (云影像下载) is FineSight's dedicated hospital cloud-film DICOM retrieval, download, export and conversion service. If the hospital provides no DICOM package, offers online viewing only or export is difficult, submit a valid authorized link or QR code. The service retrieves available images and reports according to platform capabilities, reducing the need to inspect network traffic, write scripts or organize individual images yourself. It is an independent technical service, not an official hospital portal.
Site entries and your account
FineSight (影览知微) is the site home and free local DICOM viewer. Submit hospital sharing links and QR codes to Medical Image Download for retrieval, download or conversion. Both tools share one WeChat account; local viewing does not require signing in. The viewer opens sign-in in a separate tab so the original imaging workspace stays open.
When to use the service
If the hospital gives you an imaging link or QR code but no DICOM package, offers viewing only or the export process is unfamiliar, paste the valid authorized link or upload the QR code on the download page. Link recognition may contact the hospital to check the share, required verification details and accessible study list; submitting a formal task requires explicit confirmation of authorization. Supported entries are retrieved, organized and delivered within the hospital's current sharing permissions and verification requirements, without you having to analyze interfaces or write download scripts. An adaptation request for an unrecognized entry does not establish hospital verification or start a download.
You can also use the hospital's own complete-study export when available. A report photograph, a single screenshot or an expired QR code cannot restore the complete original study.
Supported hospital entries
The support directory lists verified hospital entries and links to system guides. Different deployments of UIH, Neusoft, Hinami, FTImage or KayiCloud can use different versions and verification flows.
A valid unlisted entry can be submitted for adaptation assessment. An application is not a guarantee of support or delivery.
Deliverables and provenance
- Imaging files: original DICOM can be saved when the source platform provides it. Other entries require rewrapping or reconstruction from available data, or conversion from display images. The task result identifies each source; conversion cannot recover original information that the platform did not provide.
- Reports: an available report accompanies the result when the hospital share provides one. Not every entry exposes a PDF.
- File checks: available study, series, instance and pixel information is reconciled. File counts or successful opening alone cannot establish completeness when upstream material is incomplete.
Read about original, rewrapped and reconstructed DICOM, or open downloaded local files in 影览知微 (影览), our free online DICOM viewer. The receiving hospital decides whether the files meet its requirements.
How the viewer relates to Medical Image Download
FineSight (影览知微) is the site brand. Its local medical imaging viewer, abbreviated 影览, is at /; Medical Image Download is the site's separate hospital imaging retrieval and conversion service. The viewer is free and requires no installation. It parses local .dcm files, complete folders and ZIP archives in the browser without uploading images to this service. It offers CT/MRI and X-ray DICOM browsing for supported encodings, windowing, zoom and pan; series meeting the spatial and pixel requirements can use MPR and 3D volume rendering.
File encoding, browser support, device memory and series conditions limit what can be displayed; not every study supports 3D. The viewer cannot retrieve hospital links or provide a medical diagnosis. Hospital imaging retrieval requires submitting the authorized share and necessary verification details, so the local viewer's free use and no-image-upload behavior do not describe the download service's pricing or processing.
3D, segmentation and export requirements
The 3D workspace offers volume, surface and overlay rendering; surfaces require structure labels. Extract intensity candidates or edit labels manually in MPR, then export NRRD labels, DICOM SEG or STL surfaces when source and model requirements are met. Threshold extraction is not automatic organ recognition. Local model segmentation requires running the CLI on a computer with a separately prepared environment and model, then importing the result.
The no-install workflow applies to the web viewer; external model tools still need setup. Viewer 3D reconstruction does not recover missing source slices and differs from reconstructing DICOM files from hospital-platform pixels and tags. See the 3D, segmentation and export guide.
Pricing, credits and retries
Available credit, redemption-code and online payment options follow the current recognition result. The quote shown before submission is authoritative; this page does not promise a fixed price or free processing.
- Credits: reserved on submission and returned if unsuccessful, cancelled or timed out. A successful task consumes one credit.
- Online payments: an unsuccessful task can be retried with the original order without paying again; a refund is not automatic. Contact the service about payment issues.
- Repeat retrieval: downloading a completed task again within its availability period does not consume another credit.
Authorization, privacy and availability
Submit records only as the patient, a legal guardian or an explicitly authorized family member or representative, and review the authorization and privacy notice. Any hospital-required password, identity, SMS or CAPTCHA checks must be completed before retrieving records within the current authorization and the user's study selection. Required fields depend on the exact entry; not every share requires identity details. The service does not crack or guess credentials, bypass login, identity checks, access restrictions or expired authorization, intrude into hospital systems, or extend access to other patients or studies outside the authorization.
Hospital retrieval is processed on the service's servers. Submitted links and verification details are encrypted in task and request records. Task access is controlled by holder and administrator permissions; authorized staff may handle necessary adaptation, troubleshooting and delivery checks. Full sharing links and verification values are excluded from ordinary operational logs. Save files before the deadline shown on the task page. Retrieval expiry is separate from stored-file cleanup: applications, delivered files and necessary business records follow their respective retention rules, and expiry does not mean all data has been erased. Do not post patient names, examination identifiers, QR codes or access passwords publicly; use the controlled service flow when requesting help.
Contact and editorial policy
Website: https://dcm.wecq.cn/; hospital imaging download. Service contact on WeChat: olwater. Start with the hospital name and error description; submit medical links and verification details through the controlled application flow.
Guides are maintained by Medical Image Download. Technical terminology references the DICOM standard, and support claims follow verified entries. A page update date is not a claim that every hospital was revalidated that day.
Frequently asked questions
Are user authorization and hospital identity checks required?
Submitting a formal task requires explicit confirmation that you are entitled to handle the records and agreement to the authorization and privacy notice. Complete any password, identity, SMS or CAPTCHA checks required by the hospital's current flow. Identity details are only required when the hospital's current entry requests them. Retrieval stays within the current authorization and the user's study selection, without credential guessing, access-control bypasses or access to unauthorized studies.
Does it support every hospital?
No. Support is verified for each exact hospital entry; another hospital using the same system may need separate adaptation.
Is a failed paid task automatically refunded?
Reserved credits are returned after an unsuccessful, cancelled or timed-out task. Online payments allow retrying with the original order, but do not trigger an automatic refund.
What if there is no DICOM download button or I do not know how to export?
Paste a valid authorized link or upload its QR code on the download page and provide any verification details required by the hospital. After explicit authorization and the necessary hospital verification, supported entries can be retrieved, downloaded or converted according to platform capabilities, without writing scripts yourself. An adaptation request for an unrecognized entry does not broaden access permissions. Check the task's provenance statement and save the files within the retrieval period.
