How to save images from a hospital QR code

A hospital QR code usually points to an imaging share; it is not the image files. Upload a clear QR image or paste the valid authorized link into Medical Image Download, complete the hospital's required verification, and retrieve the available study and report if supported. Saving the QR code does not extend the original share's validity.

Steps

  1. Use a clear original QR image and keep the finder patterns visible.
  2. Choose “Upload QR code” on the download page, or paste the sharing link directly.
  3. If the image contains multiple codes, choose the one matching the original position.
  4. After processing, save the DICOM archive and report. Do not repost the QR code publicly.

Please submit only records you are authorized to retrieve. The service does not provide medical advice.

Frequently asked questions

What if the QR code has expired?

If it also fails in a standard browser, ask the hospital or the person who provided it for a new valid sharing link.

Can I submit several QR links?

Yes. Submit one link per line; each task is detected and reported separately.

When the QR code is a photo on your phone

Choose Upload QR code and select a clear original image from your photo library. If it leads to a hospital account, mini program, or sign-in page, it may be a service entry point; you still need the sharing link for the actual study.

A printed sheet may contain separate payment, report, and imaging codes. Read the label beside each code and confirm that the detected link opens the intended study.

The code is recognized, but no images open

Keeping a QR code preserves an entry point. To keep the records themselves, complete the download and confirm that a readable local copy exists.

Save the study to a phone or computer

When the task is complete, download the study ZIP and available report. On a phone, find the ZIP through browser download history and Files or the file manager; on a computer, open its location from the browser's downloads. Confirm the download and extraction completed, and keep the whole study folder. See the phone and computer saving guide.

Keeping a QR code only keeps an entry point, not a local study. An expired share cannot be restored using the old QR image.

Imaging QR codes and login QR codes are different

A hospital imaging QR code opens a share or hospital service. This website's WeChat login QR code signs in to an account; it is not an imaging link. If you already have a redemption code on a phone, follow the home-page instructions without repeatedly long-pressing the login QR code.

If the hospital QR code opens an app download page, find the specific examination's sharing or export option within the hospital flow.
